About Haweya

English built for Arabic speakers

Haweya was founded on a simple observation: learners who share a first language tend to face the same difficulties when moving into English. Sounds, sentence order, and grammatical habits carry over from Arabic in predictable ways, so a course that ignores them wastes time. We built our curriculum around that transition from the start.

Each course follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, from A1 through C2. Progress is measured against clear descriptors, so you always know what a level means and where you stand.

Method

Lessons built around how Arabic speakers learn

Every lesson is sequenced so new structures are introduced, practiced, and then used in communication. Pronunciation receives dedicated attention, particularly the vowel and consonant contrasts that differ from Arabic.

We also address syntax directly. Word order, article use, and verb tense are compared with Arabic patterns so you can see where the two systems align and where they diverge.
